The Social Security System (SSS) has recently issued Circular No. 2022-022 prescribing the guidelines on the consolidated loan program with condonation of penalties. These shall cover past due short-term member loans (salary, calamity, emergency, restructured loans). Applications for the said program shall start on September 30, 2022. Submissions for application shall be made through the member-borrower’s My.SSS account.
